Important Scam Alert: Fraudulent Vendor Applications Using Our Name
 

We have been made aware that fraudulent emails are circulating that falsely claim to be from the Manitoba Hydro Santa Parade and invite businesses to apply as vendors for the 2026 parade.

Please note that this email is NOT from us.

The fraudulent message advertises vendor booth opportunities for the 2026 Manitoba Hydro Santa Parade, lists booth prices, and asks businesses to submit an application with the promise of receiving an invoice after approval.

At this time, the Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade does not have a vendor program, and we are not accepting vendor applications or collecting vendor fees. Any email requesting payment or applications for vendor space is fraudulent.

If you receive this email or any other suspicious communication claiming to represent our organization:

  • Do not respond.
  • Do not send any payment or personal information.
  • Do not click on any links or attachments.
  • Please forward the email to us so we can document the incident.

Our official communications are sent only through our authorized email addresses and official channels. If you are ever unsure whether a message is legitimate, please contact us directly before taking any action.

We appreciate your help in sharing this information with anyone who may be affected. Thank you for your continued support as we work to protect our community from fraudulent activity.
